Practice Notice

As from the 15th September 2025, East Morley Medical Centre is a Mixed Billing Practice.

  1. Pension and Health care card holders will be bulk billed. Please present your card at your appointment to ensure it is valid.
  2. Children aged 15 years and under will be bulk billed.
  3. Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle without a claim number are privately billed until a valid claim number is provided.

Medicare & Concession cards must be presented before each consultation.

About Us

East Morley Medical Centre is an independent, practitioner owned medical Centre, which was established by Dr Nisreen Al Salihee, which is a close-knit community family practice. We are a fully bulk billing practice.

We offer highly qualified general practitioners skilled in educating our patients about their health, diagnosing illness or injury as it occurs, treating such illness, and cooperatively developing management plans based on best practices in Australia.  The doctors also take a ‘team care’ approach and can coordinate with allied health workers such as physiotherapist, and specialists such as ophthalmologists, to deliver ideal care to our patients. 

Our Doctors

Our team of doctors have high level of qualifications, including Fellows of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and doctors holding General Registration with AHPRA. Our GP’s also hold subspecialty qualifications in family medicine, women’s health, chronic disease management, and employment/occupational health.

The practice has female GP’s for women’s and reproductive health consultations, for pediatric and healthy kids medical support, including vaccinations, and also subspecialists in issues relating to teen agers such as acne, mental health, anxiety

Dr Vipin Lal has been GP for around 20 years, he is interested in chronic disease , Mental health , skin checks , minor procedure ,work compensation and Motor vehicle claims

Our Support Staff

Our practice nurses are trained to the highest professional standards and qualified to support the needs of chronic disease care, wound care, vaccinations, and to assist with care plans or other wellness programs needed by our patients. The reception and support team are expert in organizing appointments for our patients, and any follow up GP consultations or treatments, as required.
